Castle Construction

Next Friday 9th November we will be creating our very own castles during our Art lesson. We are still seeking recycled materials that will be useful for our castle construction. Here are some items that may be of use to us:

  • Shoe boxes/other cardboard boxes
  • Lace/interesting fabrics
  • Paper towel rolls
  • Decorative paper
  • Cardboard coffee trays
  • Pop sticks/toothpicks
  • Anything else that you can think of!
If your child has items that they would like to use exclusively for their own castle please place these items in a carry bag with your child's name on it and bring into school over the next week.
We have plenty of turrets and decorations that the children will be able to add to their castles while they are constructing them at school.

If you have any hot glue guns at home we would love to borrow them! We are also seeking some empty sauce bottles with 'squeezy' lids that we can use for PVA glue.
Here are a few ideas that we will look at in Art tomorrow.
